Phone number not being recognized as a working phone number after network reset to troubleshoot wifi calling not working

It just keeps getting better and better with my AT&T experience this time!!! If it's not one thing, it's something else that no-one at AT&T can ever solve regardless of how many tickets get escalated or how many people I talk to. Loooong story, short....Since June my phone will not register on the network when I'm at home(Death Valley), works fine once I get 30 miles away from home though. Spent weeks trying to get that resolves to NO avail. Gave up once I got wifi calling setup and that was a band aid for awhile. Couple weeks ago, we had a power outage in 130° heat for 14 hours with the generators not working, therefore no wifi and no working phone for me in an emergency situation during a very bad monsoon season here in Death Valley, hottest place on earth!! So I restarted my efforts to get a working phone for times like these(closest town is 60 miles away so it's a safety issue to not have a working phone). So now it's almost 3 weeks in my effort to get a replacement sim actually delivered to me(was delivered to some one named FLOYD, whom I have no idea who Floyd is) can't seem to order one myself and the reps can't seem to have one ordered for me, can't unlock my device so I can use another carrier that can actually register on ATT network(the towers out here are in fact att towers, att does in fact work here and several other carriers run on them and work, except for my phone. Most people have att and works fine for them...right?!) Wifi calling worked til day before yesterday and every troubleshooting effort failed Network reset now has made my phone number "a non working number" when called and I am unable to login into my account as it says the information I've entered is wrong, no email ever shows up whe I request temporary password and there is no active accounts ties to my user ID when I sign in with my email. I'm BEYOND frustrated with this entire nightmare that is my experience with att!! I can't make or recieve any phone calls or text messages at all! HELP please! I am in the middle of nowhere and it is a safety issue to not have a working phone out here!!

Death valley is a very poor coverage area, and essentially none for prepaid.   Did you recently switch to AT&T? How soon after you switched did you realize you have no phone service? Coverage maps clearly show both prepaid and postpaid as not covered.   There are no Towers in death valley. Even postpaid is roaming on someone else's Network, and even that is very spotty

We want to help improve your overall experience with us, @Jaytay9902

@sandblaster is correct about coverage not being available near Death Valley, CA. According to our Coverage Map, this is an off-net coverage zone.

It's important that you're able to use Wi-Fi Calling in areas with poor coverage. Thanks for letting us know the troubleshooting steps you've tried. We'd like to invite you into a DM to provide advanced troubleshooting support. This will also give us the chance to help you get logged in to your account and look into your SIM replacement. Please check your Direct Message inbox (it's the chat icon next to the bell icon in the upper right corner of the Forums).

In the meantime, have your account information on standby as we'll need it for verification purposes.

We'll chat soon!

I'm sorry,  Furnace Creek is the area where I live. Death Valley was too vague. ATT and verizon are the only reliable working services in Furnace Creek. The towers (the only 2 out there). The Ranch, which is a hotel next to us has Att passport hotspots, it's made known to tourists att is one of the only reliable cell providers, my neighbors have att and theirs works great as well most residents in our little area. Consumer cellular works with their "att" version sim card as well as cricket, freedom pop which run on att lines. Boost works out there as well. I've had Tmobile and they worked before as well. But att and verizon are working cell and data providers, where as most others is just voice and text. I've been trying get resolution for this issue since June, gave up for awhile and recently renewed my quest in having a work cell phone when home. Got the nonworking number and sim issue resolved yesterday and that was an all day project! Not sure if the new sim will fix the issue once I'm back home. If it doesn't, I've been attempting to get my device unlocked which a whole other nightmare as I am told something different by each rep I speak with sooooo...(deep breath...) keep my fingers crossed but I'm not holding my breath or getting my hopes up.
