Paid for plan renewal and it said data is out for the new cycle

I paid for the $40 plan down from the unlimited plan, I did it 1 day early, IT DID NOT give me data, it’s saying 15Gb was used AS SOON as it renewed? Iv been with AT&T 3 years and recommend everyone to them. However my job literally depends on me having working data, this could risk my job.

Hi LoyalCustomer13, let's look into why your data isn't renewing on your account.

Your monthly billing cycle starts and ends on the same date each month. The bill cycle closes at midnight on the close date. At the beginning of each new billing cycle, your allotment of data, minutes, and messages refreshes.

Try power cycling your device by turning the power off and then power back on to see if this refreshes your data information.

You can dial *777# from your AT&T PREPAID phone to get a text message with your balances. The text will give you your account balance and other account details like your data balance and package info.

Also, you can check your AT&T PREPAID details online or by phone.

Let us know if this helps, and thank you for contacting the AT&T Community Forums.

This is not true. Prepaid plans are 30 days long so the start date for the next bill cycle changes in any month not exactly 30 days long.
