Paid bill, data/call/text not working

Hi. Yesterday was my autopayment that I missed so I paid the balance due last night ($35). I've restarted my phone a couple times but my data/calls/texts are still not working. How do I fix this? Thank you

Typically, restarting the device restores service on a suspended account. Please sign in to check your balance and see if the payment has posted. 


If it has, we recommend doing the following: 

  • Check for service interruptions in your area. ~ This can be done by entering your address in the AT&T Outage Site.  
  • Check our Coverage Map to ensure you're in a covered area. ~ Your location determines your signal strength. 
  • Reset your network settings. ~ This will help sync your device to nearby towers.

Another great resource is our Device Support tool. Select your device type and answer the presented questions to get to the root cause of things.

Prepaid has no bill, just a refill. 

Does the balance still show the $35 you paid? 

If yes, it has not been used to refill service.  If you plan usually gets an auto pay credit, it did not when you oaid manually.
