No service after paying my bill

I made a prepaid payment in full, even receiving text confirmation saying it all set. Later that same day I stopped getting cell service. I’m trying to understand what the issue is.

Let's try refreshing your connection. Once you have gone to the support page, you will log in by clicking "Sign In" in the second box on the top row and refresh then click to refresh your connection. If this doesn't work you may want to try power cycling your device as well by turning your device off for 30 seconds and then powering it back up.

When you said you made a payment in full, you made a manual payment which would not be eligible for the auto pay discount, so did you pay the full amount including covering any auto pay discount?

Do you have any service at all? For example does text and data work but calls not function? Does your phone say no service or blocked from Network?

Is it possible your phone is no longer compatible with AT&T service? Shut down of AT&T‘s 3G Netwerk has affected phones that are not capable of voice calls over LTE. AT&T has chosen to suspend service until these phones are replaced. If you have received a text message or an email in the past with AT&T blowing its own horn about its 5G network and suggesting that you may need an upgrade to your phone, your phone may not be seen as compatible.

  • Do you have any service at all?
    • Text and data work but calls not function

• I have no call or text in or out

• it says "no service"

• and yes my phone is compatible with the service, it's a TCL which is one of the phones on the list

I appreciate that you refund my money for the previous month, but the bill was auto paid for this month of July and I’m still facing the same issue, but now I’m getting spam texts with “no service”.

Should look into a new SIM card or a different phone plan altogether because I tried customer service and was left hold for 15 minutes. I'm trying to be responsible and understanding but this is the start of a second month without my prepaid service.

Since you are using a non AT&T phone, it is likely that despite being on the list it is incompatible with service.   Port to a different provider.

Wow. people we’re looking/listening to me like I was crazy….this exactly what happened to me today…smh. What’s the fix? I handed out party invitations this weekend and they were supposed to RSVP. How can they RSVP and my phones not working? The party is Friday!

Pick up a cheap At&t prepaid phone and move your sim card.   (you may have to contact AT&T to correct you imei)
