Nighthawk MR1100 states 12 GB available versus on line account stating no data available (100GB/month data plan)

I get data used up when trying to access internet, but my Nighthawk MR11 says I still have 12 GB to use?  Log into account and it states all data used up (100 GB)  Which is correct?

Great question, @robiwano! Let us help you with that data usage discrepancy between your Nighthawk MR1100 and your online account.


While the LCD on your wireless internet router shows the estimated data usage for the current bill period (4.82GB out of 10.0GB), it is likely out of sync with the bill period shown on your online account, and the information provided on your online account is more accurate.


You will want to sign in to make a payment to renew your service. Plans expire when full data allotment is used or the specified time period ends, whichever comes first.


If you use the entire allotment before current period ends, you will not have access to your new data allotment until the beginning of the next period, so this may explain why you are receiving that message when you are trying to use data.


Also, customers are notified via a message sent to their device of data balance as the remaining balance gets low, and again when it runs out. You will want to keep an eye on your display when you are using service.


As you know, it is possible to check your remaining data by visiting AT&T PREPAID and signing into your account. There, you can make a payment, change plans, buy data Add-Ons, and more.
