Let's look into why the network is not working for you, @tsog.

Please share your device type and the wireless plan that you have. We'll need this to provide you with step-by-step troubleshooting to address your issue. Do you have PREPAID or Postpaid service? This helps us determine what's going on with your connection. In the meantime, we recommend using our troubleshoot and resolve tool. Just simply follow the prompts.

Please share the results with us. Thanks for reaching out to AT&T Community Forums!

Hello, @tsog. Thanks for reaching out to us about your network connection. We know how important the connection it for your device. We can help!

Let's try these troubleshooting steps:

  • First let's reset your network settings. To do this, go to Settings > General management > Reset > Reset network settings.
  • Make sure your software’s up to date: Go to att.com/softwareupdates.
  • Confirm you have wireless service. Make sure you have a signal. Check our network coverage map.
  • Check your SIM card. You may have to take it out and put it back in if your phone displays Insert SIM or Emergency Call Only
  • Try doing a soft reset: Go to “Settings” app and navigate to the “Backup > Reset > Reset Settings” tabs. Step 2. If you have the option that says “Reset Settings”, then it's possible for you to reset only settings without losing storage data.

Let us know if this helps!

Thanks for your response, @tsog.

We want to check one more thing, please let us know if your device is one of the following listed models:

  • Pixel 3a (G020E, G020F, G020G)

Be advised, these are the only models listed on our approved network list that are eligible for use on the AT&T network. If your device is eligible, feel free to let us know and provide us with the model type so that we're able to provide more device specific troubleshooting.

We do look forward to helping and assisting you further with your concerns!

Thanks for contacting the AT&T Community Forums for help.

Thanks for letting us know, @tsog

At this time, we want to make sure you've activated your AT&T Prepaid SIM using the online activation portal. You'll need to enter the following information:

  • SIM card number/EID number
  • IMEI number
  • Zip code

Give this a try and let us know if this works for you! If not, we'd be happy to assist you further with your prepaid activation!

Thanks for reaching out again to the AT&T Community Forums.
