Network access blocked

I took my sim n placed it in a different phi e it worked for an hour. Then I got this message saying that my phone is blocked from network access. I thought it was the other phone so I took my sim out of that phone n placed it back in to my phone and now it's saying the same thing....... what is going on? Can someone please help

Well the other phone you put your sim card and has certainly been blocked as lost or stolen. Your sim card is now suspended until you contact AT&T and give them an IMEI for a valid phone.

Hey there @Mamabee, we want to answer your questions regarding your device block on the AT&T network after switching your SIM. 

 

We want to imply that @formerlyknownas is correct on what you'll need to do next. Your SIM card will need to be replaced and the correct device and IMEI will need to be provisioned to your account. 

 

You can do this by visiting the nearest AT&T retail location, where they'll be able to assist further with your inquiries.
