Yup.   It's that simple 👆

If you are trying to purchase from AT&T online you may have discovered it's impossible to purchase a phone without also purchasing a plan. This is the constant problem with AT&T so I advise people not to purchase direct from AT&T unless you want to go into a corporate store. You can purchase an AT&T prepaid phone from Best Buy, Walmart Etc.

Any phone sold for AT&T will work on your Prepaid Plan

Hi @monqbbgmo,

Welcome to the community. We'd like to take a closer look into your device upgrade options.

You can definitely get a new device while retaining your number and prepaid plan. You only need to swap your SIM card into an AT&T compatible device.

You can order an unlocked device from the manufacturer or any third party seller. You can also check some designated AT&T retailers. Make sure to inform them that you have a pre-existing prepaid plan.

We hope this helps and please reach back if you need further assistance.
