This is a customer populated Forum. You cannot cancel service by posting here. Your activity here is not even connected to your account. If you cancel service you lose your phone number. If you wish to change your phone number to a different service provider you need to contact AT&T for the information required to do so.

Since you posted in prepaid, the way to cancel prepaid is to stop paying or port your number.

Let's help you cancel your prepaid service, !

In additional to our ACEs response, AT&T PREPAID service cancels 60 days after your balance expiration date as long as autopay is not setup. If autopay is setup, you must cancel autopay to cancel service.

To cancel AutoPay for your AT&T PREPAID account, perform the following:

  1. Sign into your account (Your initial password is the last four digits of your wireless number.)
  2. At the top of the page, select Home.
  3. Select Manage AutoPay.
  4. Select End AutoPay.
  5. Follow the prompts to confirm cancellation of your AutoPay.

Also, cancel any third-party service subscriptions. They won't automatically end when your service does, you have to take care of them separately. Learn how to cancel subscriptions billed through your AT&T PREPAID account.

You can find more information about the cancellation process here in the Forums.
