My bill change

I had 65$ max unlimited plan and it’s 50$with autopay. And I started a family plan yesterday, and it is supposed to cause 90$ with autopay, which it was showed 90$ at the beginning after adding one new line. However, I just signed up for the prepaid account and it shows I am going to pay 120$ with autopay. I don’t get it.

Hello, @tcz253088. Thanks for reaching out to us about your concerns with your bill. We can help.

When you change plans in the middle of a billing period your next bill will usually be higher than normal because of prorated charges. This could be the increase of price you are seeing.

Let us know if this information helps!

I’m having the same issues.  I thought I was supposed to save money by enrolling in auto pay but it seems like my bill is going up like $10 a month.  I have four lines and when I first started it was 195 now it’s 235 and I haven’t changed a thing.  I’m really getting irritated with them but they have me locked in a contract.  I wish the phone companies would pay off commitments to switch like they used to because I’d switch in a heartbeat.

You are responding on a 2-year-old prepaid thread. It's not the same as postpaid. Read the bill.

Any details, on your plan, and autopay discounts would be on bill.

If you have a very old plan, autopay discounts may not be part of the plan structure, that means there would be no auto-pay discount but quite possibly your grandfathered antique plan may have increased in price. Price increases are to encourage people to look at the new plans and possibly switch.

The name of your plan is on the overview page when you log in.

AT&T has been no contract for nearly 11 years. Installments are not a contract. You can pay off the full balance of your installments anytime you wish.
