Multi-line & Autopay discounts Question

Hi, my family and I have been on a muilti-line for a while and had no issues until June.

We're 3 lines, plans are $35, $50, $35 /month.

We have autopay set up with the account owner. (Do the other lines need autopay???)

On the 21st of June, ATT deducted $100 from my balance, instead of the usual $80.

The multiline calculator says I should be paying $80.

Does any know why I got charged the extra $20?

I have kept my balance up with Target prepaid cards (unsure if that's relevant info).

Thank you for any assistance.

Only the multiline account owner needs autopay. Autopay is normally done with a credit or debit card or bank account. Even though autopay is supposed to use your account balance first before charging your autopay source, my guess is for some reason you lost your autopay discount. You might want to ensure autopay is still enabled and that there is no issue with whatever method you have set up for autopay. Otherwise, you’ll need to call since this forum is not customer support and no one here has access to your account.

Hi, thank you. I was able to contact 611 and they informed me that since my balance was over $80 (was $160 before the 21st), they didn't give the autopay discount. Makes no sense to me, but they were able to give $10 in refund.
