locked out of account
Hy there,
2 Years ago while traveling the states i bought a prepaid phone because my european phone wouldn't work there (for mobile data and gps).
As i had planned to get back to the states eventually i tought i would use the phone again (but i haven't returned yet).
Now 2 years have passed and i don't have acces to the email i used to create my AT&T account, i have no service on the phone in Europe and i have no clue what my account number is.
I tried with the phonenumber , but got a message that my account is locked?
Can anyone help?

If you haven't used the phone for 2 years, the account was closed and the number recycled. You will need to get a new number and SIM card.

You got that account is to locked message because prepaid account access is blocked from most locations abroad. @kdfederer is right. Unless you’ve been paying for that number the last 2 years, your account has been closed by now. A prepaid account is automatically closed if the account balance is $0 for more than 60 days. That number is probably in use by someone else.
