Issue with porting number and cancelling the request
entered a request to port my number from Tracfone to AT&T. The port request was completed by ATT prepaid could not activate on two brand new sim cards. so ported back to Tracfone. Asked AT&T to cancel the original port-in request. Problems is I cannot send/receive text messages or have an internet connection. making/receiving calls are ok. Tracfone is unable to provide the "balance" as well.
Upon checking the ATT prepaid website, I can see call logs. looks like ATT got hold of my number, cancelled the port-in request, honored the port out, but has not actually cancelled the account.
How do I go about resolving this ?
