Ipad 6th generation cellular+wifi. At&T SIM not working anymore
I have had a pay as you go AT&T account for 10 years, presently I have a iPad 6th generation.
I buy the monthly cellular several times a year. Tried to activate it again for a month, and says, Invalid. In my iPad settings>cellular>manage AT&T account>Invalid Access. (USIM9991). How do I get an updated SIM card for iPad 6th generation. I really don't want to switch from AT&T.

The $35 prepaid iPad plan is no longer available. You will have to select from current prepaid data only plans.

If a TNT has deactivated your physical Sim, you can either Connect using the built-in embedded SIM card, or you will have to contact AT&T about a new SIM.

I’ve had the 2g for 3 months plan for 15 years and they cut off long time customers without notice. $25-35 a month is ridiculous for my needs and small data usage. Switch to t-mobile - headed there when the current data expires - $10 a month

Hey there @ebbrat. Let's take a look at prepaid data plans.
We no longer offer the 2GB for 3 months data plan. It's possible that the plan expired by the time you had to renew your plan. Plans and prices are subject to change. You may select a different data plan that works best for you.
Hope this helps! Let us know if you need any assistance with changing your plan.

Well, no - I won't be using you again if you don't offer that plan. Off to T-Mobile - long time customer bowing out.

Thank you for the response, @ebbrat.
We definitely do not want our long time customer to go! Let's meet in a Direct Message to view other options. You will find a chat icon next to a bell icon at the top of the page on the right-hand side. Our next message will appear there.
In the meantime, gather your account information (do not post it here) and have it ready for when we speak in a Direct Message.
We look forward to your response. Thank you for reaching AT&T Community Forums.

Thanks for that information. Looks like T-Mobile is exactly what I need. Not sure why AT&T dropped their small data usage plans. They worked perfect for my needs. Appreciate your advice.

Clarissa, there is no discussion necessary if you, without notification of any kind, removed this plan. I've reviewed the other plans and $35 a month is robbery for the little data I actually use - mostly ipad voice navigation on the road - wifi is everywhere. T-mobile has virtually the same plan I used for $10 a month which is all I need. You will lose thousands of customers with this greed based decision. Ba-bye ATT.
