Inquiry regarding prepaid cards

Hi, I just made a stupid mistake and would like to know if there's any solution.

I bought numbers of perpaid cards as I thought I could use them to pay for an annual plan.

Now I know that the cards can't pay an annual plan, and my account balance appears to be zero for some reason.

On my account history, it shows that I have made several payments with my prepaid cards.

It would be appreciated if I can get a number that I should call to, or a possible solution regarding the issue.

Thank you.

Hello STEEPEcoffee, we're here to help get payments made with your AT&T PREPAID cards.

The 1 year promotion is online only and new lines only. With a new line, your account isn’t created until after you purchase the plan. A prepaid card can only be used on an existing account.

Once you have your account setup you can pay using the AT&T PREPAID cards by following these steps.

  1. Sign in to your AT&T PREPAID account.
  2. Select Make a Payment.
  3. Scroll to AT&T PREPAID Refill Card and enter the PREPAID PIN from the back of the card.
  4. Select Continue. You'll see a payment confirmation.

Let us know if this helps, and thank you for contacting the AT&T Community Forums.

Prepaid cards can be used to pay for any prepaid service including an annual plan. If you have applied the cards to your account balance but the balance still shows $0, that is a different issue. Is your annual plan due for renewal now? If so, what does your account show for amount due? It’s possible the prepaid cards are being applied and rather than showing as an account balance, they are reducing the amount due. The number to call for support is 611.
