Improper use of data?

Hi! I just got my prepaid sim for a holiday - I'm visiting from the Netherlands.

Yesterday I got a notification that my device was cut off due to improper use. I've only been posting photos and talking to my friend and family back home. We've got the card to be able to call for reservations and internet usage, that's it.

Is it possible that you can reconnect me?

The community is customer populated, not necessarily the quickest or best way to get a hold of AT&T support.

I have no idea why you would get that notification on AT&T prepaid, and certainly have never seen or heard of that before.

Improper use could be using in a device not allowed or supported by the plan. For example, putting a SIM card in a tablet or hotspot device when you have a phone plan would be improper use. Using a device not on ATT’s list of supported devices could also cause your service to be disconnected. So what plan did you buy and what device are you using?
