If I deactivated my autopay do I still need to cancel my prepaid plan?

Hi! I was wondering if I need to cancel my prepaid plan, even if I deactivated the autopay, to avoid future payments. I had to leave the States due to COVID-19, and I'm not using the phone number, so I'm no longer interested in retaining the line.

I tried to call the abroad service number but the service is just awful, they keep me waiting for hours.

I hope somebody can solve this doubt. Thank you, guys.

Turning off auto pay stops refills. If you turned off auto pay your prepaid account and number will expire and terminate without penalty
