how can I get sms on prepaid phone when I am in another country?
I travelled to UAE and I get no service even for sms from AT&t itself. I need to get a code from AT&t to access my online account but I can't.
Please give advice?!

You can’t. Prepaid service does not roam internationally. You might be able to receive a text via WiFi calling, if activated. Otherwise, there are no other options. It would not matter if you could receive the code anyway. You won’t be able to log into your prepaid account. Account access is blocked from outside of the US.

Hello,
You can add time at pay-per-use in some areas, but to get this resolved, you’ll want to call if already abroad:
“For questions while roaming outside the U.S., contact AT&T by calling +1.314. 925.6925, a free call from your AT&T wireless phone, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week”
