Hotspot not working

I just paid $10 to be able to use my hotspot throughout this month, and it is npt working when trying to connect to my Roku. I have restarted both devices multiple times as well as restarted the connection between the two in my phones settings.

what type of AT&T service and monthly plan do you have
were you able to connect your devices with the hotspot in the past
what type of mobile device do you have
what is your zip code and are you experiencing any difficulties accessing cellular data
