Help with card payment online

I keep getting the same error message when I’m trying to buy extra data for my sons phone. The message says, Sorry your payment has been denied by your banking institution. Can not process your payment. Please call your banking institution to see why they have declined. 
I have contacted my bank & they have not declined anything. I have also tried several other debit cards & get the same error message. 
I have noticed that there are several other posts about this same issue but I have yet to find an answer to the problem.

Hi Cfewing9, we're here to help look into why your card payment online is being denied.


If you use online payments and save payment methods for easy payments every month, check to make sure that we have your correct bank or credit/debit card information.


Update the information if necessary and resubmit your payment.

To update your stored payment methods:

  1. Sign in to your online AT&T account.
  2. Select Profile.
  3. Follow the instructions in stored payment methods to update your stored payment methods.

If needed, sign in to your online AT&T account and select Make A Payment to make another payment.


You may want to try using another browser. Also, you can try clearing the cache and cookies on the browser you are using.
