Freeze my at&t prepaid online

So my phone just broke yesterday. I heard to freeze my at&t prepaid I need to give a call or send a message to at&t, however, since my phone broke I could not give them a call. could anybody show me how to freeze my number through the online method? Thanks.

if you mean you want to stop autopay you have to login to your account and cancel autopay, if its not on autopay you just stop paying unless you want to keep your number then you have to pay to do that @lizdance40 can probably give you a better response than i

Oh, just by stopping autopay I could basically "freeze" it?

If you turn off auto-pay, your account will not refill. Be aware if you are pay per use plan ($2 or 25¢)and have any balance left in your account it may be lost if you allow it to expire.

You can order an AT&T phone from Best Buy and have it shipped to you, and then move your sim card to the new phone.
