Failed autopay again

Every 3 months I get the same error saying auto pay was not successful. When I log into my prepaid account autopay is magically disabled and says please make a payment. When I try to enable autopay it always says account information is currently unavailable, please contact customer service. So I lose service every 3 months and have to speak to someone over the phone that I cant even understand. This has been happening for years and about to switch to verizon.

Since you only refill every 3 months, you must have a pay per use plan. Those plans were discontinued over a year ago, only those that had the plans were allowed to keep them but you probably noticed, your rates went up. If you have the pay per minute plan, you now pay $0.35/minute. If you have the daily plan, it’s now $3/day. Had you not said this has been happening for years, I might think they are trying to get rid of you. Anyway, no one here can fix that. Either set yourself a calendar reminder to refill before your balance expires or keep going through that every 3 months. Maybe it is time to switch.

No I have the monthly autopay but every 3-4 months auto refill fails and I have to call customer support that fixes it tell the same error occurs. There is some error they have been having for years that magically turns off autopay for no reason.

Sorry, I misunderstood. That is very unusual that autopay would work for 2-3 months, then fail. Can’t say I’ve ever seen that complaint. Do you have any idea what customer support does to fix it? If any of the failures are due to the payment being rejected by your bank, that usually means you need to change your autopay source.

I cant even understand what the agent says they barely speak english. All I know is they turn autopay back on and process the payment with no problems. It is so annoying.
