Error sending invitation for multi-line at&t prepaid mobile phone account

I'm currently on an at&t prepaid multi-line account and wants to add someone to my account (have already successfully added 2 people), but when I send the invitation it shows an error called "Error while sending invite", does anyone know how to fix it? (The person being invited has a currenly working 8GB prepaid plan).

Is the prepaid account that you're trying to invite to join your Multi-Line active? If so, please clear your cache and cookies, log into your online account and follow our Invitation Steps.

It didn't work, I still can't add the line. The liner owner just renewed his plan two days ago, could this be the problem?

Thanks for providing us with an update, with trying to send invitation for the multi-line account. We want to take a closer look into this for you, since you were successful with the other 2 invites prior. 

To answer your question, that shouldn't be the case. We encouraged members to wait until the day before their rate plan is set to renew before accepting the Multi-Line invitation. However, we'll be more than happy to send the invitations for you.

Hi,

I am getting the same error but I am on the receiving end. I am trying to be a part of a family but every time I accept the invitation its throwing an error. In addition to this, I am not even able to create my own family plan. Please let me know what needs to be done. This has been happening for months now and I even tried going to the AT&T centre in hope that they could resolve it but no one could get to the root cause and resolve the issue.
