Desperately need to cancel AutoPay service from overseas

Hello, I've been staying in Korea for several months after coming back from Madison, WI due to COVID-19. I tried to call the international hotline to cancel my phone plan, but somehow the autopay did not get cancelled even after hours of talking. I've been spending over $150 of fees and now I really think this ridiculous action needs to be stopped.

The only way to stop autopay without account access is to call, which you have tried, or cancel your card. By cancel, we mean report it lost, not temporarily stop it. Don’t believe that is even possible. Your bank issues a new card with a new number and charges against the old number are denied.
