Could not use add on

I bought an add on for 1GB data on Aug 8 by calling (800) 901-9878, I saw the purchase history on my account, but I could not use the data. I could not see the add on and my current add on is taken up by a promotion that could not be renewed.

Hello zylareina, let's get you pointed in the right direction to get your add-on for data working.


Try powering your phone off for 30 seconds to get a fresh connection to the network. 


Check to make sure that your data is turned on by going to your plan to activate usage.

  1. Go to Usage.
  2. Select Manage my data usage in the Usage section below the graph.
  3. Toggle Data Off or On for the device you want to manage.
  4. Select Save

We also suggest resetting the network settings by choosing your device to refresh your connection to the network.


Settings icon > scroll to and select General management > select Reset > Reset network settings > Reset settings > select Reset to confirm. 


Make sure your device has the most recent software updates to ensure you have the latest features. 

  1. Go to Device Support.
  2. Select or change the selected device brand and model.
  3. Scroll to More Device Help.
  4. Select Software updates if you see it. It only displays if there’s an available update for your device.
  5. Repeat the steps to check for software updates for a different device.
