Changing autopay date

I want to change the autopay date but this isn't possible to just do. Apparently you need to turn autopay off and either delay your payment to the day you want or pay early the next month on the day you want. My question is if I do this then will I lose my autopay discount? I am on the $75 prepaid plan which I get for $50 with autopay. Will it still be $50 if I delay or pay early? Has anyone else tried this or had experience of this?

If you disable autopay and allow your plan to expire, then turn autopay back on, yes, you will lose the $25 autopay discount. It will revert to the standard $10 autopay discount. You must keep autopay active to keep the $25 discount. Now if you just pay early, autopay is supposed to use your account balance first, so paying early shouldn’t cause you to lose anything.
