CAN'T PAUSE THE PREPAID ONLINE
Hi everyone,
I am currently staying in a foreign country outside US, and I could't log on to my at&t account as I forgot my password. What's worse is that my US phone no. can't get any confirmation messages. How can I pause the prepaid service on my account?

You need to call the international support number accounts are blocked outside
While AT&T employees do look at forum posts from time to time, we are here to represent the forum with our experiences as customers and do not represent AT&T in any official capacity with our responses and do so on our own time unpaid and off the clock. As employees we are not rewarded nor compensated to participate in these forums This forum is comprised of regular customers to communicate with other customers to offer advice and share experiences same as any other user Although there is a small team of customer care specialists that monitor the forums the sheer volume of posts are simply too many posts for these agents to respond to each one of them.

Account access is blocked from most locations outside of the US. Your only options to stop autopay without account access are to call the international support number or cancel your credit or debit card that is used for autopay. Be aware that your account will eventually close if you just stop paying. A prepaid account is automatically closed if the account balance is $0 for more than 60 days.
