Can't log in to prepaid account

I have been trying to log in for months and I'm tired of trying the only way I can log in is by changing my password continuously I'd I try to log in with my pin or password I get locked out for an hour. This needs to get fixed I cannot keep changing my password Everytime I try to log in also when I changed my password this last time it said I could not use my current the at&t app and website both so this

@lizdance40 Wasn’t there a recent change forcing a 6 digit pin or something like that? If the “forgot password” link only sends a 4 digit pin, perhaps that explains why it must be changed.

They might have forced an alphanumeric password.   Neither of us are using At&t prepaid anymore, so can’t check.

I can't login either. Only after I change my pin does it take me to the site. If I log out and try to log in again with the new pin i get the same error message of  "The system could not sign you in. Please enter your password and try again."

Wow, and they still can’t give you anything other than the “cookies” run down. I’m having the same problem and that’s the only solution I’ve found, yet it’s not a solution because it doesn’t work.

I am experiencing the same issues. I have to reset password every time I want to log into the app. This needs to be addressed and fixed ASAP

Still haven’t even heard from anyone. I can’t tell if that’s more frustrating than knowing they’re going to give me the same run down they give everyone else with this issue. 

It’s not user error.

If you haven't set up a new alphanumeric password, it won't allow you to log in anymore with the 4 digit PIN.  They require you to set up the 4 digit pin and an alphanumeric password.  The PIN is for account verification and port out etc.  Account log in is with the password.

9/15/20 i have a 4 digit pin and alphanumeric password set up and was able to log in with these 2 items a month ago but not today (on website and mobile app). also clicking reset password did not send me anything via text or email. 

 

really lame.

 

i want to check my data usage and also make sure unused data is rolling over as it should.

I am also having issues logging in.  I have to reset password every single time.  Even after i just reset password it says cant log me in that it was incorrect.  We pay good money to AT&T You would think they would figure out how to fix this.  This is crazy.

Part of me is so happy I'm not the only one going through this. I've cleared my cache, reset my browser, deleted my presaves, and everything, all basic troubleshooting, and yet, without fail, if I want access to my account I've got to call up and battle with a rep who doesn't understand "I'm a stupid person that uses like, two different pins or passwords for everything, and yet I still can't log in, what's wrong", resets my pin, and sends me on my way until surprise, surprise, the same thing happens the next time I want to do anything. I've been paying for the plan I don't want for five or six months purely because I don't want to deal with calling up to do it. What's the point of advertising convenience and offering online services if they don't work? 

All AT&T does is blame us for not "troubleshooting" when clearly something is up and it's not just our end. If I didn't want to keep my number, I would have long since switched to a more reliable company -- maybe one with a functioning app!
