Cant get into my prepaid account

Ok I have a mobile hotspot 2 and pay monthly for data, I dont know how this happened but it isn't taking the password i set and when I try to enter forgot password they say they are going to text me a pin/password. How are they going to send a text to a hotspot?! So nothing is working and I am locked out of my account. Everytime I call the number provided it hangs up on me after it gives me information I have already tried.

Most of the hot spots do have a screen and do actually receive a message. If you're hot spot does not, please call AT&T and explain your situation so that they will send your information via email instead of text to the hotspot

All of that would be well and fine if I could get real people to answer. Everytime i call the prepaid number, then it asks for my pin and hangs up when i cant provide it. And when i enter reset pin it tells me to go to the website. I think the prepaid 800 number needs a little improvement because after being on the phone being transferred several different times and still no solution.

What our ACE formerlyknownas stated is true, you can view messages and notifications on your hotspot device. Change to your device make and model to get personalized steps. A message icon appears on the home screen when a new message appears.
