Cannot get prepaid to work! Help please!

Hi there! I purchased a prepaid plan (5g included for 25 dollars per month x1 year) on my pixel 4a (not a 5G phone).

1. I followed instructions to active the card and it is activated as far as I can tell. This was by using the ICCID and IMEI numbers. When I called the automated prompt, it confirmed it was active.

2. I went to the "Transfer number" website and it says "transfer in progress, you're all set. your former provider has approved the transfer"

3. I went into my pixel 4a and changed the eSIM from Google Fi to ATT and set that up. As far as I can tell it looks fine, but when I try to make a call nothing happens or if I try to "Activate WiFi Calling" it times out, so clearly it isn't really working.

4. When I tried to log in to ATT prepaid I request the "Forgot password" feature so it should text me a password, but I don't receive any text. So I can't log in to the website.

5. I restarted my phone and the "sign into network" notification pops up. So I again enter ICCID and IMEI numbers and it again tells me the SIM card is active. If I click 'continue' it will either time out error or it wants me to log into account, but as stated I don't have login information and I click send me password but I don't receive a text.

I am clearly missing something but I am feeling frustrated at this waste of time. I suspect the main hangup is I can't join the network because I can't log in with my wireless number. But I can't request a password becasuse I'm not getting text messages...

I called my local store and they said they might not be able to help because it is prepaid. I called several 1-800 numbers and none of it helped me.

Any insights would be so helpful, thank you!

AT&T needs your order number or to take your payment in order to begin your plan.

AT&T Prepaid $300 for 12 months Promo (ADVICE WHEN SIGNING UP)

After signing up for AT&T Prepaid and the $300 promo offer and having issues with activation:

1. Sign up via website and fill in all appropriate information including porting info, shipping address, credit card, etc. SIM card may be shipped overnight via FedEx.
2. Once you receive your SIM card and have your phone ready, call 866 975 0050 to activate via phone and have your AT&T Order # handy.
4. Explain you'd like to activate your service and provide phone number, SIM card and IMEI. The agent will then ask you for payment to activate service.
5. \*\*THIS IS IMPORTANT\*\* To avoid getting double charged, tell them you've already provided that when you ordered and tell them they can do this via your AT&T Order #. Provide that to them and do NOT provide a credit/debit card to them.
6. If they claim they can't do this, ask to speak with a supervisor or someone else. Your account will be activated and within 30 minutes or so the payment of $300 + taxes will get charged to your credit card you provided during the initial order. Your service will not work until this payment is applied, but in my experience it took anywhere from 5 min to 25 min.
7. Once this is complete, you can setup your account online and manage your account via the website:  [https://www.paygonline.com/websc/loginPage.html](https://www.paygonline.com/websc/loginPage.html)

If you provided a credit card number and end up getting charged twice, call the AT&T Payments/Refunds line at: 866 608 3007 and they will look up your account and process the refund.
