Cannot activate prepaid service after purchase of $300 for 1 year plan
I recently ordered the AT&T prepaid $300 for 1 year promotion from the AT&T site on Monday, January 6th . I received my SIM card and my number port status from my prior carrier shows as confirmed. However, whenever I try to activate, I get a GA309: "We hit a snag" error.
Because AT&T hasn't activated my account, I cannot access AT&T support by phone as it requires an active AT&T phone number, which is very frustrating. Support at the local store was also unable to assist beyond telling me to wait until the number port was confirmed, which it now is. Any help or information would be appreciated.
