Cancelling my Prepaid Plan from Abroad
Hi,
I have been trying to cancel my AT&T Autopay Prepaid Plan over the summer but have not been able to since I don't have any access to the myAT&T site. The recovery method requires me to put a temporary PIN sent to my number when I can't even receive it since I'm outside of the US. I can't call the International Phone helpline since my Wireless number doesn't work outside of the US, and there's no other method I can seem to find other than emailing the Customer Service, which they don't have any.
How can I go around this? Is there anyone I can contact so that I won't be paying 2 months worth of bill when I'm not even there to use it?

You would not be able to login to your account even if you could receive the text. Account access from outside of the US is blocked. Your options to stop autopay are to call or get your bank to block the charges. If using a credit or debit card, cancelling the card will work. Please don’t say you can’t call, of course you can. You just can’t call from your prepaid number. You can ask the agent to call you back so that you don’t run up charges.

I tried calling their number from my local number, but my balance was out before I can even get through the automated answering machine; the charge was way too high. I'm only wondering if there's any other way (other than calling their international customer service) for me to contact them at this point.

Sorry but no, there isn’t, at least not that I know of.
