Call and text history.

Does at&t prepaid delete phone records such as phone calls and text messages on the data usage history from your account? I am trying to figure out if an call or text message was done on a certain date does that show the correct calls and text messages from that day? If so if I had no more calls or text on a certain date until the next day does that mean I had no more incoming text or calls for that date?

Ok great so what I want to know is if I am able to download a pdf file of my call and text usage that means the report is available correct? And if I see usage with time and dates that is the calls and text I have received or sent with those days? It has been over 60 days with the report I am speaking about if it was going to be reported it would have registered by now correct? Last question I promise lol

Good questions @cashfirst.

 

Yes, if you're able to go online and view or download the monthly report then it is available. The timestamp on the report may be off by 4 hours when a call was made or a text was sent, and we try to update the report every 3 hours to keep it as accurate as possible. If 60 days have passed, then that usage should be logged by now. 

 

You can make calls without data, and send SMS messages as well. If you have an iPhone, you'd need data to send iMessages. This usage will still be logged.

I had a flip phone with AT&T. If I made a call without data or a text would that would have been registered on the report I was able to download?

Also what if there was to tower outage? Would calls and text still come through? If so would that information be logged?

If there is a tower outage, and you have no service, then no it will not show due to calls or texts not being able to go through. If a call or text successfully goes through, then yes, your calls and texts will show on the report.

So I have my report and I see times of calls and text but I see no calls or text after 2:30pm. What does that mean? Since the report is available does this mean this report is accurate and there were no other calls or text after 2:30pm? Is it possible for records to not log? It’s has been pays 60 days.

As previously mentioned throughout this interaction, you may experince delays in usage reports. If you aren't seeing certain calls, messages, and data usage details when viewing your account history you'll want to check it again periodically. It’s been 4 months, those records would have been logged by now correct? That’s all I want to know for sure.
