Call and text history.

Does at&t prepaid delete phone records such as phone calls and text messages on the data usage history from your account? I am trying to figure out if an call or text message was done on a certain date does that show the correct calls and text messages from that day? If so if I had no more calls or text on a certain date until the next day does that mean I had no more incoming text or calls for that date?

We appreciate your response, @cashfirst

In some instances, yes, AT&T PREPAID customers may experience usage delays. Which in turn may cause the report to be unavailable in your online account. If that is the case, you can contact us for your usage and call details.

Thanks for contacting our AT&T Community! We hope this helps.

Ok but if I see call and text history which shows times and date when calls and text occurred that would be the calls and text I had for that day correct? Last text shows a time but no other activity after that last text. Stating to receive other calls and text the next day. It shows the time and date. I have pdf file showing history.

So if the report is in my online account, that would be the accurate call and text history? I was able to get about 8 days of call and text history, which also show data history.

That's right, @cashfirst

What's reflecting in your history should be correct, as @sandblaster mentioned early on.

Thanks for visiting our AT&T Community!

Last question, so if I have a report in my online account, the calls and text are the accurate times and dates? Also if I am on a phone call and someone calls on the other end and I answer would that show on my call history?

Hey there @cashfirst, thanks for reaching back out.

Like @sandblaster mentioned, answered calls will reflect in your call log and data usage. We strive to have your data, text and call reports be as accurate as possible, however the time stamps may be off by up to 4 hours compared to when the text was sent or call was made.

Please let us know if you have any other questions.

Ok so if a text was sent at a certain time it can be off by 4 hours like 4 hours later? What about the calls?

Also if delayed calls or text won’t be delayed by 24 hours would it?

Also my last question is, if a report is available online where I can see call and text history that would be accurate correct? If the report is unavailable then I wouldn’t be able to see the call and text history correct?

Thanks for reaching back out, we'll be happy to clarify this for you @cashfirst.

The 4-hour delay applied to both calls and texts. We try to keep the usage reports as accurate as possible, but factors such as wireless roaming use or data usage outside the U.S. can cause delays anywhere from 2-10 days or 60 days respectively. However, as long as the data is used then it will be reported.

We hope this answers all of your questions, please reach back out if you need anything else.
