Auto Pay

Do you still have to make a payment if you are enrolled in autopay? I received a text saying that the amount will be lower if you have money in your account. I thought they would just take it out of my bank account. What does this mean

Are you prepaid?  If you are a prepaid user and your account shows that you have a balance, that balance will be used before AT&T takes money via auto-pay from your method of payment.

I finally got it figured out, somebody’s making bonuses at AT&T.
AT&T Prepaid AutoPay "The amount will be lower if you have money in your account"

they charge a tax on your payments, wherever it’s coming from. You do not have to have a balance if you are enrolled in auto pay. They charge an extra 10% approximately whether you pay through auto pay or also have a balance in your account. Here is the clincher when you go to your payment history it doesn’t show the extra 10% in your payment even though they took it.
