AT&T request password not working

I got a number ported over to AT&T prepaid, and the porting request is complete. However I have no incoming or outgoing service on my ATT SIM. I have activated it, but when I try to request a password @ https://www.paygonline.com/websc/requestNewAccessCode.html# It keeps telling me that the information provided is invalid. What do I need to do to complete this process?

Hello @arpanmalviya, we're happy to help with your AT&T Prepaid activation. 

 

First, make sure that your device is compatible with the AT&T network by checking the Make and Model of your device on our List of approved devices. To activate your Prepaid account and set up your account password visit our Prepaid Activation Portal or following the steps below. 

 

1.Before activating your AT&T PREPAID account from your device, make sure it has been charged and that the AT&T PREPAID SIM card has been inserted (some devices may have the SIM card pre-installed). Once charged, turn the phone.

2.You will receive a free AT&T text message. Select the unique URL sent in the message.

3.The SIM/ICCID number and IMEI number will auto-populate. Enter your 5-digit service zip code and the passphrase code, then select Continue.

4.Select whether you would like to Activate 1 device or more than 1 device.

5. Select the desired rate plan, then scroll down to select the desired option for AutoPay. Select the check box to accept the Service Agreement, then select Continue.

6.Enter your email address, then select Continue.

7.Select the Payment Method from the drop-down list.

8.Enter the requested payment information, then select Continue.

9.A free "Welcome" text message will be sent. Select the link in the text message to set up your account password.

10. Enter and confirm your new password and 4-digit PIN, then select Submit. Select OK

An email with a verification code will be sent to the email address entered previously. Enter the verification code, then select Validate. Select OK.

 

You can also activate your Prepaid device by phone: Call us at 877.426.0525 for automated instructions. You will need to know your SIM card & IMEI number for activation.

  • Note: Activation will take around 10 minutes to complete. The SIM/ICCID is located on the SIM card itself. To locate your IMEI, visit Find IMEI, Phone & Serial Number.

IMEI is a 15-digit number that can be found using one of these methods:

  • by dialing *#06#, or
  • on a white label on the box your device came in, or
  • go to Settings > General > About on your device, or
  • looking under your device's battery

ICCID/SIM is a 20-digit number that starts with 89 that can be found using one of these methods:

    • on a white label on the box your device came in, or
    • go to Settings > General > About on your device, or
    • on the credit-card sized SIM included in your device or SIM package
