ATT Prepaid Hotspot - Can't login

I set up a hotspot in the store and the staff member told me I could login online. I keep trying to request a password or pin but I don't have an ATT phone, only the hotspot, and I am not receiving a code at all. I need to login to monitor usage/pay. How do I handle this? I cannot reach a human on the phone support line.
