ATT account suspended

Why is my ATT cellular suspended, I haven’t had any payment issues and it doesn’t give me a reason why.

This is primarily a customer populated forum. We would have absolutely no way of providing that information to you. If you could provide a little more background on your end that might help. Are you prepaid or postpaid? Have you recently made any changes to your account? Have you checked your phone to make sure that it's not a problem with the phone rather than account suspension?

Pre paid and no I haven’t made any changes to my account recently and it’s not a problem on my phone since I have switched out SIM cards with my family and those work fine it’s not my phones problem

What makes you think your account is suspended? Prepaid doesn’t suspend accounts. Your prepaid service will work until your plan expires and then it will work again once you renew your plan. Moving to prepaid forum.

@sandblaster  is correct.  Prepaid doesn't suspend service.  There is no bill, just refills. 

Can you call 611? 

If it's not the phone, it may be your sim card.  This is a really bad day to have your sim card quit on you

Thank you, @formerlyknownas for the prompt response. In addition, we recommend confirming that your plan is active by signing in to your Prepaid account and scrolling to plan details.

 

Are you unable to make or receive calls, or are you unable to use data on the device? This will help us determine if it is the device, or services. Once you have confirmed that your plan is active, the next steps would be to Troubleshoot your Prepaid Device. Sign in and then click on "Fix it now" to walk through step-by-step solutions. 

 

Here are a few things to check as well:

  • Turn off Airplane Mode. Most phones display an airplane icon when Airplane Mode is on.
  • Turn off Do Not Disturb or Quiet Hours. Some phones have this setting to keep you from getting calls during certain times or while the setting is turned on.
  • Turn off Call Forwarding. Press #21# on your phone and then the CallSendTalk, or Receiver key. If your calls continue to forward to another number, learn how to turn call forwarding on and off.
  • Check the Blocked Calls or Reject List. On some phones, you can block calls from certain numbers or create a reject list to avoid calls you don’t want to get.
  • Insert SIM card. Steps on how to remove and reinsert the SIM card if your phone displays Insert SIM or Emergency Calls Only.
