Activation issue

I bought two phones from Walmart.com, and they did not scan them properly so both phone accounts were suspended. Brought the phones to Walmart, returned and rebought them so they were properly scanned, but still cannot get phone to work. How do I possibly get the suspension lifted. I call at&t and they said there's nothing they can do because their system shows the phones as not sold.

I had the same issue today with a phone bought from walmart.com.  My at&t account is suspended.  How do I get it turned back on?

Let's take a look at why you are unable to use your new device, @cbjhe.

Please provided us with some additional information to help us see what steps we need to take.

  • Did you have active service prior to the new device?
  • Did you put your old SIM into the new device?

Also, have you already tried to activate your new device online? If not, just enter the ICCID/SIM number or the last 4 digits of the EID number. Typically, a device supports only one of these, but some devices support the use of either.

If you are replacing your device, simply take the SIM card out of your existing device, and put it in your new one. SIM card won't fit? You may need to replace your SIM at your local AT&T Store

We look forward to hearing back from you, so we can help you activate and start using your new device!
