Activating prepaid SIM Card
I am having a very frustrating experience activating my AT&T prepaid SIM card. I got my SIM card yesterday and for the past 2 days have not been able to activate it. I initially tried activating it online, receive multiple error messages. Called customer service multiple times and go through all the automated messages and don't get anyone to talk to to fix it. Contact them on chat and transferred to multiple agents and supervisors and still not fix. Went to a store location and ended up more frustrated. Finally got in touch with technical support and was told someone will call me back and hasn't heard them for the past 5 hours.
I am now literally stuck and don't know what to do. Anyone having such experience or advice?

Hello @eb1980,
We'd be more than happy to take a closer look into why you're unable to activate your AT&T PREPAID SIM card.
You can follow the steps at this link to Learn how to activate your AT&T PREPAID device.
You should be able to successfully Activate your AT&T PREPAID device online at the link provided.
What is the exact error message that's being displayed after you enter the requested information online and select Continue?
Please let us know.
We'll be patiently awaiting your response.

I finally got it activated at another AT&T store. The agent I met had to make multiple calls to technical support before it was fixed. He was not sure what the issue was but was told it could possibly be that one of the customer service agents I had spoken to had earlier started the process but didn't complete the activation and was therefore resulting in the error activating.

My neice just started driving and lives in a good TMobile coverage area. I told my brother I had an unused sim she could use to setup a phone for emergencies.
Can I activate it for her online or do I need an activation code also? All I have is a phone and unused sim (that's not expired)
Last time I set up a TMobile prepaid line it seems like I had an activation code with it
