Accidentally made a new number when activating new SIM.
Hello! My mom is sick of her current provider, so I ordered her a new phone and an AT&T prepaid SIM from Amazon. I had done this for myself a few years ago, and didn't think there would be any hassle, but I missed something this time!
My intent was to transfer her current number, like I did with my own before, and then invite her to my multi-line prepaid thinger. I went through the steps of activating the SIM, expecting that at any moment, the option to type in her current number would come up... but then payment went through, and I was given a new number.
I'm not sure where I was supposed to go for what I wanted to do, but now I'm a bit frozen as I don't want to end up making a pile of unnecessary payments because I screwed up a simple process!
Is there an easy fix for this?
