$83 Gone in a Single Useless Click
So today I received a phone and seeing as it was way better than my old one, I decided to put in my UNLOCKED sim card in. The moment I opened a single app, before a single thing other than a white screen popped up, I was charged $83 for 40MB of data. It drained my balance to $0 and left me confused! When I checked online, it was shown on my account activity as well. My plan was $2 for unlimited data (or actually 100MB) but instead of being charged only $2, not only did it not prompt me to log into my account to allow the data to be used like it was suppose to, it charged me $2 per MB for 40MB! That's charging me 10,000% more than what it was suppose to and drained all my money! Can someone help fix this as customer support is just redirecting me to an automated bot and aren't much help at all at the moment?

Which was it? Unlimited or 100MB?
You don't have to enable the data add-on for $2, it automatically kicks in on the first byte used?

Eh, I’m not buying that’s what happened. You will have to call and convince ATT, which is unlikely
BTW, the 100 mb add on is good for 24 hours and is not by any description “Unlimited “.

The data add-on is $1 for 100mb. If your account activity really shows multiple $2 charges, something really went wrong and that should be easily fixed with a phone call.
