Why can’t I log in ANYWHERE except myAT&T!?

I’m so upset right now! I broke away from my moms account yesterday, and got my own account. I had a previous AT&T ID from posting on the forums here, so I used that to set up my new wireless account. 

 

I am am having trouble logging into at&t Thanks, it keeps telling me “401-ID: CustomerProfile-1000 - No account found”. So, after deleting the app, reinstalling, and trying the website itself (with the same error) I decided to come try the forum. 

 

I CANT LOGIN TO THE FORUM NOW. I HAD TO CREATE A WHOLE NEW ID JUST TO POST THIS. 

 

I am FURIOUS. I like the service I get from AT&T but this is infuriating! I don’t get why I can’t access the Thanks program or my original forum account anymore! The password has NOT changed. I can’t even use my DigitalLife ID on the website and I DEFINITELY haven’t changed that password!

Did you set up on prepaid or your own postpaid?    Prepaid does not use myATT.   

If you have prepaid you would be redirected to paygonline.com

If you have postpaid - You have a new account, you need to set up a new access ID for your new account.  https://www.att.com/esupport/article.html#!/wireless/KM1008917?gsi=01eqd4

You will also need to reset your password and check text for 2 step authorization code,

and set up a passcode

I already linked my old account to my new phone account. Now I can’t create a new one. So I have to call customer service now?
