Where's the verification pin for Mobile Security app on my iPhone?

I've downloaded the Mobile Security app on my iPhone X.

It has me put in my phone number for verification and says it will send a text with a pin number.  It never comes.  I can't get past that set up screen until ATT sends the text.  What's the hold up?  Is there a glitch?

Hello @ur42n8,

 

We can definitely take a closer look into why you have not received your PIN. If you don't have the latest version of the AT&T Mobile Security app, you'll need to download it from the App store. Once the app is installed, you'll need to confirm if you're eligible to use AT&T Mobile Security by following these steps:

 

1. Open the AT&T Mobile Security app.

2. Enter your wireless number, select Continue. 

3. If you’re eligible, you’ll receive a free text message containing a 6-digit alpha numeric PIN.

4. Enter the 6-digit alpha numeric PIN.

5. Select b.

6. Review details and accept the Terms & Conditions.

7. A welcome screen with enrollment confirmation will appear.

 

Have you already previously enrolled in this service? If so, we recommend that you Remove the service from your account through myAT&T and uninstall the app, then complete the set up process again after you've reinstalled the application on your wireless device. Let us know if this helps.

No... I have not enrolled in the service before. I found the info on ATT website yesterday. I saw the Basic version was free and wanted to check it out. I downloaded the app yesterday. I put in my cell number and hit the button to receive the verification code. NOTHING HAPPENED.

Remove the app and reinstall it. Go through the process again and see if it works now. Let us know if it helps.

I’m having the same issue. Deleted app and reinstalled with no success. Any fix?

I also had this problem. its likely that at one point you blocked the number that they text the pin with. unblock the right one and you will  get your pin.
