What plan can I get to use my AT&T phone while I am live in London permanently?

I live in London. I keep a US phone for my trips back there. $10 a day on London is too expensive. I want access to it anytime. What sort of plan is there for me to use my US phone while I'm in Europe?

None.  You should cancel your AT&T service and purchase service with a local service provider. You might consider porting your USA number to Google Voice so that you still have access to the number and can reestablish service if you ever come back to the USA.

If you are using your AT&T phone number currently for two-factor authentication, you would want to change those authentication methods to a new phone number. There's probably going to have to be some overlap.

Once you have changed all your two-factor authentications, and reestablish service with a different service provider in England, you can call AT&T and cancel your AT&T service plan and phone number.

You don’t have to use the $10/day plan. You can just pay “per use” rates but since calls are $3/minute and data is $2/mb, that can add up to more than $10 very quickly. Also, you only pay the $10 on days you use the phone. If you don’t use, no charge. Of course any roaming charge is on top of whatever your monthly plan costs. Maintaining ATT service while you live in the UK is not cost effective.
