Good afternoon @ahmedaljaziri,

It is my understanding you are attempting to unlock an AT&T device.  Since you are in another country we definitely understand your desire to unlock the phone.  I will be happy to provide you with the correct information.

In order for a phone to be eligible for a device unlock it needs to meet certain qualifications.  They are as follows;

  • The device cannot be reported as lost, stolen or involved in fraud.
  • If the device was sold under a contract, all obligations have to be fulfilled.  If it was purchased on installments, all installment payments must be paid in full.
  • The phone cannot be active on another person’s account.
  • If you upgraded early, you must wait 14 business days to file an unlock request.
  • If the device was activated on an AT&T PREPAID account, it would have to be active for at least 6 months.
  • If the device is an employee phone, your employer would have to file the unlock request.

If the phone meets all of the above conditions, please visit the AT&T Device Unlock Portal to file a request.
