Unlimited Extra Plan benefits

We just transferred to the Unlimited Extra Wireless plan, and one of the benefits is AT&T ActiveArmorSM advanced security. This covers the AT&T Call Protect and AT&T Mobile Security apps. When we sign on to these apps, we get the option to "upgrade" to the "Plus" version of both apps at an additional cost. 

Unless I'm wrong, I was understanding that the Unlimited Extra Plan would provide the "plus" version of both of these apps at no additional cost; am I wrong? 

I tried chatting with AT&T customer service only to have my question escalated, received a text that it was fixed, but nothing has changed.

Can someone please clarify this for me?

My chat last evening with AT&T was to get the Mobility PLUS on my husband's phone. When he downloaded the app it was only on BASIC. After getting a text that it was fixed, I checked it today and it's still at BASIC. Is there anyway to get this corrected without spending hours on the phone or on chat with AT&T?

Unfortunately, not that I know of. Saturday may not be the best day.  I would try Monday if it's not fixed.

Hi tanksi, we're here to help you with your question about the AT&T ActiveArmorSM advanced security with plus feature applications.

 

Call Protect Plus is additional 3.99/month it is not free, however Unlimited Elite & Unlimited Extra customers get free Advanced Mobile Security when they download the latest AT&T Mobile Security App version but will lose Caller ID, Reverse Number Lookup, & Custom call Controls (Call Protect Plus features).

 

Please make sure that you have the most recent software update on your device to ensure you have the latest features and device protection options. You may then need to uninstall the app and reinstall to make sure that you have the most recent update.

Hi Jeff, My husband's phone has the most recent software update and I did uninstall and reinstall the Mobile Security App. His Mobile Security app still says the account is "basic" while my phone says my account is "plus" on the Mobile Security app. We are both on the same plan (unlimited Extra) on the same account. This is the reason I spent over an hour chatting online yesterday with an AT&T representative and the case was escalated. Today I received a text stating the "promotion was added", and referred to incident #152116796. Again, I uninstalled and reinstalled the Mobile Security app with no change noted on my husband's account before writing this. Any suggestions at this point? I'm stumped!
