Transferring Cell Lines
My phone has broken and i have been looking for a new one and have decided to get an iphone 6. My brother, who is part of my family plan, has and iphone 6 and wants to go to an iphone 6s. I was wondering if it was possible for me to pay off the $300 left that is owed on the 6 for the att next plan he has and switch it to my phone number and service.

Sure. That will pay off his loan and he can get another phone. All you have to do is insert your SIM card or have ATT program a new one for you.

Just to add to what @lizdance40 noted, you do not have to pay off the remaining balance on the iPhone 6 to use that phone but it will have to paid off for your brother to get a 6s via Next. Another option would be for you to get a 6s on Next and swap phones, then you make the remaining payments on the 6 while your brother makes the payments on the 6s.
