setting up google voice with a gears3 and numbersync

i had a hard time setting up my gear s3 watch and my gs7 active and integrating the numbersync feature that allowed me to use the watch for calls.

i would get some calls going to google voice, and some going to att voicmail 


here is what appears to be working for me.


set up number sync on your phone and gear s3

now turn off number sync using the s3 watch

set up a google voice  account and add both your phone and s3, make sure you verify each device with the 2 digit code reply for each

call and have them turn off any att voicemail services

have att confirm they see the google voice forwarding on each device

now, from the watch turn on numbersync


now if i call my google voice number, or my mobile number  and i reject it at the phone , watch or if it times out , google voice will pick up.

you cannot verify or setup google voice on the s3 while numbersync is activated

Just to make sure I understand the issue, you are welcome to forward calls to your Google Voice? Also, do you have the Google Voice app on the S3 watch? This will help me research the next step!

Wow a att rep that does not know a Samsung watch does not run Android Wear...  FYI it runs tizen.  You can't put the Google voice app on a non Android device besides a iPhone.
