Removing 4th line
We were sold the 4 lines available deal 1 1/2 years ago; thought it meant that was available, not that we’d pay for unused lines. Now I see we’ve been paying over $60/mo for an unused line. How do I get that $$ refunded?

You don’t. It’s your responsibility to review your bill. If you were paying for an extra line, that should have been caught a year and a half ago. As noted, at best you’ll get 3 months credited, possibly 6 since the time frame for reporting billing errors has increased. In any event, to remove a line you need to call.

AT&T Consumer Service Agreement (TOS) Sec.1.10
If you have a billing dispute, you have 180 days from the date of the bill either to notify customer service or submit a Notice of Dispute. Otherwise, you’ll have waived your rights to dispute the bill and to participate in any legal action raising that dispute. This limitations period does not apply in any state in which this contractual notice provision is prohibited.
